Catherine Treadgold as Cherubino in Mozart's Marriage of Figaro
Catherine Treadgold maintains a private teaching studio in Seattle’s Ballard area.
In both 2008 and 2009 she taught vocal technique at the 5th Avenue’s Summer Musical Theatre Camp. From 2002-2007, she was an adjunct professor at Shoreline Community College, where she taught Class Voice, Voice Dance, and Small Vocal Ensembles, a class she created.
For the past ten years Catherine has been a popular adjudicator at Washington State Music Educators Association Solo and Ensemble Festivals, judging twice at State. Several of her students have gone on from regional WSMEA contest to the finals, where three placed first and three second.

Catherine served as vocal coach for Mountlake Terrace High School’s musicals from 2004 to 2007. In 2002, she was musical director for Country Day School’s student production (grades four through six) of Gilbert and Sullivan’s Iolanthe. In 2000, while performing with Harlequin Productions in Olympia, she co-taught a two-week musical theater workshop.
Catherine is a member of Actors’ Equity Association (AEA), the National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS), and a performing member of the Ladies Musical Club (LMC).
Lessons are $35/half hour or $60/hour. This includes sheet music as well as CDs of the lesson and suggested repertoire.
